Multiuply Plywood - For professional results every time!

It’s What’s Underneath That Counts!

10. Do I need to use a joint patching compound?

In most cases, no.
MULTIPLY is precision cut and sanded to be square and even in thickness from panel to panel. With careful installation patching can be avoided…

However, if during installation, 1/16" or greater gaps occur or gouges, chip voids, or indentations appear, it will be necessary to patch and sand.

Use a non-shrinking, cementitious patching compound with a liquid acrylic latex additive and follow the manufacturer’s instructions.

A gypsum-based product is not recommended.
