Multiuply Plywood - For professional results every time!

It’s What’s Underneath That Counts!

10. Do I need to use a joint patching compound?

In most cases, no.
MULTIPLY® is precision cut and sanded to be square and even in thickness from panel to panel. With careful installation patching can be avoided…

However, if during installation, 1/16" or greater gaps occur or gouges, chip voids, or indentations appear, it will be necessary to patch and sand.

Use a non-shrinking, cementitious patching compound with a liquid acrylic latex additive and follow the manufacturer’s instructions.

A gypsum-based product is not recommended.
